VERSAILLES AND GIVERNY TOUR OPTIONS

We can organize tours, tickets and guiding to the palace of Versailles and Monet’s Giverny home and garden from Paris.

We recommend that you choose between the following most popular tours:

PRICING & TIMING

The pricing depends on how many of you there are, the time of year and if you choose a van or train travel. If you are more than 4 people then the best choice for value and comfort is to take a van. Please let us know your details for a quick quote, here are some examples: Another of the very popular museums, here also you should get a timed slot entrance admission to avoid disappointment. We can organize visits with or without a guided tour.

Half day tour (maximum 5 hours duration overall) to either Versailles or Giverny including entrances, tour guide and private chauffeur with Mercedes van (or similar):
€125 per person (based on 6 or 7 people)

Full day tour (maximum 8 hours duration overall) to both Giverny and Versailles including transport and expert guiding:
€215 per person (based on 6 or 7 people)

We recommend leaving at either 7am or 9am (between these times the traffic is the busiest). If you’re willing to make it an early departure, then you can be amongst the first at Giverny to enjoy the atmosphere and serenity of Monet’s famous water-lily pond.

Half day tour from Paris to Versailles by train including entrances, with hotel accompanying you from your hotel or the station (maximum duration 5 hours overall):
€195 per person (based on 2 people).

As a comparison, for 2 people the same tour with private driver instead of train would be €360 per person.

We will book you time-allotted “skip the line tickets” which will allow you to avoid the main lines to enter at a designated time. Your tour guide will be a certified and licensed expert able to explain and show you around these wonderful places. You can learn more about our Paris tour guides here. Most of our vans are Mercedes and are equipped to bring you maximum comfort for your tour. Like our guides, we only retain drivers for whom we receive the best feedback.

For Versailles in particular, tours should be booked well in advance as certain time slots can get booked up very far in advance. For anyone who is truly wanting an in depth discovery of the Versailles estate you can book a full day and we will arrange for the tickets to include access also to the Petit Trianon, Grand Trianon and the Hameau de la Reine.

For anyone wishing to travel by train to Versailles without a guide, we can arrange all train tickets and the entrances to Versailles for you. In these cases, we simply sell you the tickets at the public rate and charge a booking fee on top of €5 per person/ticket. We then send you all you need with clear instructions and advice.

For large groups, we can organize a motor coach and headsets for your group. Contact us with your dates and information.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR TOUR

1. Send us an email to replyquick@therealfrance.com and say which tour you are interested in, when you’d like ideally the visit to be and the number of people in the group (state also if all adult or if children or students 25 or under).
   
   
2. Upon receipt of your mail we will get back to you with a price very quickly along with any suggestions or helpful comments we can give. If all sounds good for you then we will send you the final booking information with payment instructions.
   
   
3. Once we have received your confirmation and payment we will arrange for your museum tickets or tour based on what was agreed.
